Hip hop legend Ja Rule returned to MTV to show his softer side as a family man in a new reality show Follow the Rules. The show highlighted family values in a fun and modern way.
The post-produced campaign came together easily with lots of frisky dialogue and an epic music track I was psyched to clear. The track proved tricky at times, but we worked diligently to have it drive the spots without overpowering them.
Additionally, I implemented a timely departmental initiative to "make weird shit." With no additional budget, I worked with designer/animator Tim Livezey to create our “Murda Cat” spot. I reached back to my production assistant skills to clear gratis Getty Images and relished in my dream gig as a voice over artist.
